Welcome

Newborn Palooza! {part 1}

Winter months always keep me busy with newborns. I love it:) What better way to spend my cold day, then to cozy up photographing a sweet newborn. Here’s the start of some favorites from this month, and I will be back in a couple days with more! The post was getting too long, so I thought I would break it up some!

First, miss Greyson. Check out the eyelashes on this beauty!

Next, Greyson’s little buddy Chase:)

And last for today is the adorable little Jameson. Mr. Jameson liked me so much he decided to stay awake for much of our session. Although, he did conk out for some great shots…but they are a surprise for momma!

I will be back with more soon! And speaking of newborns, many of you know that I am currently expecting my 4th little one. Because of this, we will only be scheduling sessions until April 19th, and will resume again for limited sessions in July, and full force as of August 1st! The calendar is filling fast for March and April, so if you are expecting your own little cutie, touch base soon! I will mark your due date down and be sure to save you a slot before my leave.

My favorite little man~

Long time no post!! I know! I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday season, and is happy to be in 2010!! I know I am!! Many of you already know, but in case you don’t, I am expecting baby girl #4 late this spring. We are so excited!

I know I am way behind on blog posts and cute faces, so will try to be a bit better about this over the next few months. I will start by sharing a long overdue post about my favorite little boy to photograph EVER. I don’t even have to introduce him, as you have all watched him grow. I swear he gets cuter as the years pass! I didn’t even think that was possible.

Evie~

This amazing little cutie is quite loved and VERY welcomed by her mom and dad. She couldn’t have been an easier baby for me. What a wonderful way to start a very long weekend!

Small side note: There are only 2 dates left for family sessions in December. There are a few dates open for last minute newborn sessions, and we are booking discounted sessions in January and February. More details on that to follow!!

Maya~

A super sweet baby girl, with awesome parents. What could be a better session?!!

and a quick side note…. the blog is behind, and I do apologize if I haven’t posted favs from your session this month. I promise to try, but I will not lie..this is the busiest month of the year:) Super fun, but CRAZY busy.

Holiday Schedule~

There are only 2 dates left for December, so if you are interested in a last minute holiday session, now is the time to email me;) After that, we are booking for the new year! Can you believe it’s almost here?! wow.

And what’s a post without cute faces? I photographed big sis Lucia when she was 5 months old, so it was only fitting I met Ella at 5 months also. She was just as beautiful as her big sis. Good genes;)

Where oh where did Kim go???!!

Did I fall off the face of the earth? No:) I am here, burning the midnight oil after being out of commission for 2 weeks with the dreaded swine flu(ahhhh!!!). We are all better now though and back in the game. What a crazy busy next few weeks we shall have!!!

I will give you a heads up…things are way too busy this time of year to update the blog with every new session. I work hard this time of year to offer extended holiday sessions, and work like an elf to get galleries out fast and orders to you even faster. I know how important having that perfect gift is!

And what is a post without pretty faces. One of my favorite families;) Adorable as always.

Michaela~

This little sweetheart just brightened up my day, despite the torrential downpour we experienced the ENTIRE day. I am so grateful that is behind us now, and we have had some sun!annapolis newborn photosannapolis newborn photographermichaela_51.jpgmichaela_63.jpgannapolis newborn family photographer

Catching up a little~ {Annapolis newborns, maternity, families and children!}

This is just a start of my catch up today:) I am way behind as you can tell!!

The images are a bit smaller than usual, but that’s because I have tons to share today.

I will start with one of my favorite families. Dad is a hero in many eyes, and is very loved by his little men. I am so glad I was able to spend some time with them and capture that love and connection.

 I still have tons of favs from this month that I am dying to share, but this is alot for today. I will try to be back tomorrow with more. But a little warning, the blog may have some delays at times during this crazy busy season.

Connections~

Oh my poor neglected blog:( I have so many fun sessions to post, and while I can promise I will be back to update them all, I have come to confess that I need to be realistic. With the holiday crazieness approaching, and 3 young kiddos of my own, my blog will have to hit the back burner at times. I am finally accepting that! While I will try to post at least a few times a week…please don’t hate me if I can’t, lol!

On a brighter note, I would love to share one of my favorite recent sessions. I met with this family, to capture them as a group before the grandparents moved away. I prepared myself to have a hard time getting a larger group to relax and open up, but boy was I ever surprised! I had a blast with them, and the connections I could see between them all was unreal. I just LOOOOOVE families that can open up behind my lens. What a fun, and loving family:)

I think this last one was my favorite from the whole session. They had no idea I was even next to them, they were so into watching their kids. When mom sheds happy tears at your session, you know she feels life is good:)

Holiday Schedule~

Just a quick reminder to all those considering holiday sessions this year. With fall being the most popular time for portraits, my calendar is quickly filling for October and November. September is almost booked, but I do have a few days left and can usually wiggle things around to be accommodating. However, if you are thinking about booking a holiday session, now is the time to call or email. Also, if you are thinking about reserving a newborn session, please contact me soon so that I may mark your due date on my calendar.As a little incentive, all sessions booked between today and October 5th will receive $50 off their Classic session fee. Session must take place by October 10th in order to qualify for discount. Call fast though, as there are only 5 remaining slots for this time frame!
