Am I crazy???

That’s what I have been told many, many times this past week. Many of you know, we are expecting our third girl in exactly 2 weeks now. So what does my husband think will help my older two transition into being big sisters?? A PUPPY!!! Yup, a teeny tiny, not house broken pug puppy;) My head was telling me “NO NO NO!”, but when I saw her wrinkly little face, my heart spoke louder saying “YES YES YES”.So, little Zoe is now a very happy part of the Flores family, and my 4 yr old Julia couldn’t be happier. Laina would probably like her a *little* more when she grows out of that ankle biting stage, lol!

On the other side~

I had a BLAST at my own maternity session with the super talented Baltimore photographer Blair Blanks! It was so nice just talking shop, kids, and how we stay sane managing it all. Definitely a surreal experience being on the other end of the camera. It doesn’t happen too often.Well since I have been so lazy neglectful with sharing my own maternity images, I thought I would share some of the amazing shots Blair captured at our session. It’s amazing how fast your little one grows in only 4.5 short months. Seeing Ms. Saige again reminded me that when my little one arrives, I need to soak up every single minute. I can’t believe how much she has changed already!! What a personality! First, Ms. Saige at just 2 weeks old;)

His charming little face was just to cute to resist using as an introduction to my portrait site! He looks much older than a mature 3, doesn’t he??His new baby sister is quite the charmer herself, with those chubby little cheeks! Reminds me so much of my middle baby Laina.

Ok, you asked for it!

I am guilty of not posting any photos of my growing tummy, and people are catching on, lol! The truth is, I am waiting to share some of the beautiful images I will have taken next month by a friend and very talented children’s photographer Blair Blanks. She is kind enough to spend some time capturing beautiful maternity images of me and this baby girl. Bless my husbands heart…he tries to take good photos of me, but it’s just not the same as a woman who has an eye for the pregnant form;)So for now, here you go….they are a little early, but you can see the progress. The first one was actually two months ago, so you can imagine how big I am now!!only 23 weeks in the pink shirt and 28 weeks here…. more to come soon…I promise!

Sneak Peek {Rockville newborn portraits}

I will be sharing quite a bit over the next week or so as I get out the last of the galleries:) From then on, the blog might be a little boring, although I will try to post updates on scheduling, and of course fun news about the newest addition to the Flores family! This little man, at a month old was still so tiny to me! Maybe it’s because I carry around two toddlers all day long, but I sure thought he was a tiny little guy. So cute!!!

Officially counting down……

to my big day! I have officially begun my maternity leave and will no longer be scheduling new sessions for the summer/early fall of this year. We will be welcoming our third baby girl, Alyssa Skye, during the first week of September or sooner. I have been dying to share the news here, as well as some belly shots of my big self, lol…but I wanted to wait until we got a little closer.Thank you all who have been so understanding with certain issues during these past few months.On a different note, we are already scheduling sessions for the fall, starting on November 1st. Sessions will be very limited, and will be offered at a first come first serve basis, so please call or email me soon if you wish to schedule a holiday portrait session.I plan to come back next week with some belly shots of myself, since I share so many others around here;) In the meantime, I HAVE to share this adorable little cutie pie! This poor little man cut is first tooth the night before we met. Needless to say, as much as tried, he was not a happy camper. Poor thing. We were able to catch a couple of great smiles, adorable expressions, and my all time favorite crying shot!!! You have to love the crying shots!!

Sweetness {Maryland newborn portraits}

This little guy is the cute, sweet, chubby kind of newborn I just LOOOVE to photograph. His mom and dad are very blessed to have him in their lives. He is a true miracle. On another note, if you are interested in a summer session, please call soon as the July calendar is filling quickly, and we will be closed August through November 1st on maternity leave:) There are a two weekend days left in July, and a few weekdays as well.
